I never believed this gun would shoot that fast, which is a good thing I guess lolAnyway Nicks Bullets wouldn't group due to I did not know I shooting this fast, I mean I shot a 50 grainer and it was hitting the target before I pulled the trigger lolI finally got the JSB'S tuned down and shooting one ragged hole, so if I can get the FPS correct on the swagged bullets, I feel I can achieve so good results! This barrel does seem to be a little more fussy at what it shoots compared to results I have seen and heard from others shooting the Carbine. This Sumatra really needs a Hammer power adjuster of something, its like shooting a .22 Long Rifle PB.... Look when you shoot a 34 grain pellet and it hits 1135 FPS thats way too much.I will try to do some tests at 35 yards today and see what happens with Nicks Bullets, Does anyone know about what FPS they have been shooting Nicks bullets with success?WilliamI've never heard of a carbine shooting that fast. Mine shoots Benji domes in high 900's with a fast decline.

The standard 2500 500cc Sumatra is rather heave and I think the Carbine is the better buy all around. If you get one you will be amazed at how well built it is and the looks are just great, like I mentioned above it looks nothing like it does on the web pages pics. It is a lot better looking than you can imagine. You wont regret buying one that's for sure, just make sure you turn the power down unless you plan on hunting elephants. You will also need an LDC if you are shooting in a neighborhood.Oh and don't regret the Mrod I had one and it is a great rifle that shoots well, mine was a .25 cal.William

Yes 1135 FPS On Full Power and it was a 25.4 grain JSB and more than one, of course like you said it falls after that.I said 33.95 grain above but I corrected it. "Look when you shoot a (CORRECTED it was 25.4 grain) NOT 34 grain pellet and it hits 1135 FPS thats way too much."At only 6 clicks up from lowest power it does over 1000 FPS.... below is my notes showing what it does on 3 and 6 clicks up from low.

Those numbers still seem awfully high to me. My gun would easily be a 100 fps lower than most of your numbers. Plus it most likely wouldn't be that accurate pushing kings that fast. Meaning the ones that were close to 1,000 fps.
not having a LDC is one reason I want it, NYS is sketchy with them, rather not deal with it and my range is a 4 minute drive. Plus the power:)Hows the trigger on them? not expecting mrod trigger but is it decent at least?
Looks like you got a little carbine with extra muscles If she likes the 43gr EunJin and cast bullets in the 50gr range she should be a hammer.
I think the key to these guns is to have a system to start low on the dial and dial up every mag or 2 for a consistent string. I need to spend some time doing this.
