Good Deal... Yeah I am happy I did not add the brass tube to this stripper, the results from changing the hole sizes was enough for me.
While your at it go ahead and get his air extension. a little pricey but good. I really like the way mine looks with the shroud ext and air ext. Just 2 cents.Bob
take lots of pics for us
Sorry…too lazy to take apart a shrouded gun to show you the actual part. Not to lay to sketch it out. This is how I got the most quiet (by meter) from a Crosman shroud. Dumped the plastic stripper. In it’s place made a black delrin “ring” like this:Idea is that the barrel fits TIGHT to the inside, the outside is a good push fit to the inside of the shroud, and the two “flats” allow air to flow into the rear part of the shroud. It supports the shroud, removing any independent vibration and allows the whole forward section to collect air (even the best “stripper” directs most of the air forward…this lets it expand to the full diameter of the shroud and direct at least part of it to the rear.).Actually, with this part supporting the shroud solidly, accuracy has been better and the noise level lower. The exiting air has the whole inside diameter of the shroud to expand into before the pellet passes through the Gaska extention
