A little update . Made a deal with SnoValley on a real nice 2200 . Now I have a 2nd version and 3rd . The rifle from SnoValley is the 3rd version and has the best crown I have seen on a Crosman 21 or 2200 barrel . The breech end is also very nice . I have a feeling someone did it after the factory sent it out the door. Shooting it after it arrived gave me a chance to try it out before doing any of the usual mods . I don't have a big variety of .22 pellets to try but found it does not like Crosman Pointed Premiums . Shooting The other 2 pellets ,Daisy Superior Match Grade and Crosman wadcutters was a lot more of what I was hoping for . So far shooting the 2100 Classic,2100B,2200-V1 or 2200-V2 my best groups all came with wadcutters at 24'. I took it apart and did a little work on the insides . When I was in the process of putting it back together . The spring for the sear left stage right and has not been seen since . I have not been able to get back to it as I have been under the weather for more than a week now . SnoValley thanks for a very smooth transaction .
Anyone still looking might find this interesting. I know it's been awhile but, you never know.http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=80258.msg934832#msg934832
