Is the 760 the only series made by Crosman that is attached by means of a long screw thru the pistol-grip section?
I recently acquired a Series 3 mod 760 from '74 or '75.
It came with a wood forearm and a solid styrene stock.
I had a wood stock laying around that would not mate up well to later 760's,either in shape or angle of attachment.
However, it fits the Series 3 pretty well.
This stock is thicker and more shapely than other 760 wood stocks I have seen, which are more slab-like.
But, I have not as of yet come across other models that are attached in the same manner.
As always, just curious...

You can lead a man to water, but you can't keep him from urinating in it.

I don't think the 66 came in wood but it attaches the same way.. Maybe it's a special edition 760 xl stock... I know those are different from the regular 760 stocks...

One more thing... Just a FYI.. The forearm hole spacing on the XL type guns may not match up on the regular 760s.. I learned that the hard way...
