Nice lookin gun David. Funny you should mention premature firing, I was shooting the 101 last night and it went off halfways thru pump 8. Just one time. I haven't had this gun apart, it came to me as a shooter. I'm wondering if it wouldn't be a good idea to pop the safety on after the first pump and release it just before firing while pointed in a safe direction until we get them sorted out.
BTW, that is the same version as mine. Betty Lou's has the shorter breech cover and the knurled stock screw as opposed to the hex nut. There is an offset hole in the rear of my breech slide. I tapped it and threaded a hex bolt in with a small (1/8) spacer. I applied loctite. It acts as a bolt knob for the slide. No pic, I'm at work.
From the way it looks, the wait was well worth it!! Now don't shoot your eye out kid.
Quote:I definitely have to remember to switch pumping arms though .Told ya.....FYI.... try some .22 Daisy Wadcutters... cheap, accurate and hit real hard.
Bust a beer can full of water at 20yds. way cool.
