add this

doing it this way still allows you to unplug original charge hose and one tank for quick get aways

you need to rig up cart of some sort

*LOL* thanks, now I have a question, are you filling the smaller tank with the larger tank or using the smaller tank and when it runs low open the valve on the larger tank?
what I started doing was using my scba to fill up my scuba using a double male foster fitting. now is it possible to add a shutoff valve between the smaller tank output between it and the fill hose so you could shut that off, open the larger tank valve and fill the smaller tank?

ahhh, I'm doing that in a round about way, I use my scuba to fill as high as it can go when it gets low, then disconnect and connect ag to scba and top it off.  your way is convenient.

I do the same thing without all of the plumming. I just use one tank until it gets too low to give a complete fill. Continue using it and get what ever it gives. Then unhook from it and hook up to the full tank for the top off.

The advantage of the two tank set up being, you don't have to waste the air in the hoses to connect to the higher pressure tank. You rig the extra one with a minimum of plumbing and waste just a little less, and get much more out of the lower pressure tank than would otherwise be possible.

Thanks for for showing the details of the parts Tom.
cheers,
Douglas
