1st outing with my boys

(1/2) > >>

Traction Event:
Weather was finally nice enough to play outside.

I recently re-sealed a vintage (1969) 1st variant Crosman 760 Powermaster.  Picked it up to educate my boys on the inner workings and kickoff point for Hunter safety. After the re-seal and overall cleaning I wanted to sight in the gun, so the boys had a shot and hitting some targets. My goal was to show the boys shooting is not like a video game... It takes time and practice. The old gun shot better than I had hoped.

All targets were shot free standing at 30ft with iron sights and BB's.  The boys took a number of more shots than I did, but a good start for them.  They are both signed up for Hunter safety next weekend.

Here's our results.

Tims229:
Looks like some good quality family time. I had my oldest son out today as well with his new 2400kt. Was a bit cold for the co2, but he enjoyed shooting my prod until the weather warms up.

Boley:
That was a "good start" for your boys! Congratulations on getting them enrolled in the "Hunter Safety" course.

Tater:
Nice job getting them started out right Chris.

longhunter:
looks like a good time was had by all ;D.
I'm going to move this to the vintage gate, by the way.
