Hi Dave, When Walmart, PA, Field Supply, and many other retailers ship to Massachusetts Amazon should at least give an explanation for their decision? Companies are usually looking for additional business???It's not a question of buying elsewhere it's a question of why they wont when everyone else will?

Why don't you do due diligence and read the local ordinances and city bylaws and perhaps you'll find out why you can receive air rifles, pellets, etc via mail in those zip codes. This isn't purely Amazon''s doing. A poster explained that it took a change in laws and then months for Amazon to catch on to it.

There are few other retailers that have stores in the state that will sell you a product no questions asked yet will not ship the same item to your door. This whole issue appears to be a corporateDecision
BTW Walmart has many of the good Airgun deals Amazon has with free shipping.
Due to state restrictions this item can't be shipped to 95219 or picked up in stores nearby.
those who live in "Free" states be thankful. california just passed a law to severely restrict the purchasing of ammo. no internet purchasing, catalog purchasing thru the mail or importing of ammo from other states and residents must purchase a permit and undergo a background check just to purchase ammo.so far airgun pellets are not restricted...YETpay VERY close attention for whom you vote!
