Was out this evening plinking on my steel plates, with my .22 cal B28,and then swapped over to my .25 cal Sniper.
Noticed right off that the Sniper wasn't clanking the steels as loud as the B28 was!
Will run it over the chrony and compare to earlier numbers. Pellets in both guns were H&N FTT's with the .22 cal being 14.6 gr. and the .25 at .20 gr. Usually the Sniper being the winner of hammering on the steel plates!

Sorry to hear that might just be a piston seal or breech seal. Just got my parts in the other day the SAS groumet and pivot washers for my 135.

Did some chrony testing and the H&N 19.9 gr average number was 744 FPS. Back on 4/29/12 average was 799 FPS.
Polymags 26 gr. average was 704 FPS. On 8/17/12 average was 715 FPS.
I found out one reason it sounded like a lighter hit, yesterday, was I had shot the 24.3 gr. H&N pellets instead of my usual 19.9
Those sound as they hit as loud as usual.
I believe the rifle is still in good shape,as it still shoots on target and FPS spread is fairly close, especially with the Polymags, where the spread was 2-3 FPS!
Still slightly over 28 FPE with the Polymags.

Recently had a replacement Sniper sent due to a seal. Although I didn't have a chrony to run tests, the faulty seal was causing 3-4 inch patterns at 5 yards. Knew something was wrong and called CS.
