Title: MAX. 25 Costumised & Ready for Hunting Dutys & More Improved Looks
Post by: Nomadic Pirate on June 19, 2012, 08:12:35 PM
I'm finished with my MAX, I think it looks much better and definatly the rougth new surface now is much better for carrying in the woods

A "must do" Mod is to file off the threaded part where the trigger link goes past the screw that holds the stock, makes the trigger much better.

that looks fantastic

you just need that front m4 style grip, leapers makes a nice ergonamic front gripe that attaches via weaver rail

This gun is absolutely amazing, I don't even use it on Full auto, I played a bit with it, but don't really interest me.

But the Semi feature is fantastic, I have this 3/8" nuts hanging from string on a fence at 35 yards, I can go from one to the other so quickly not having to reload, having the capability to stay on target might be a real asset on hunting situations.

Man I don't even shoot my other guns anylonger, love the way this baby handles, balances and carry,...so stocked on this buy.

it looks sharp for sure, and more importantly its more functional with the rough grip and other mods , the addition from neil clague is sweet also , semi auto is the way to go , that a hunting machine , now if we can only find better homes for your  newly orphaned ones , homes where they will feel loved , you did an excellent job , no wonder all of us want your guns!!!

looks great! ;D i like the little detail of covering that red switch too. ;D

that 3" NC looks good too. fits well with that short gun. doesn't look like it would take away from the quick handling either. ;D did it help a lot?

It's ALL in the details :) :) :)

even the super short 3"er did real good, a 6"-8" one would probably really work well.

I think the biggest noise now is the Ping,....I have custom Baffels and a depinger coming from Will Piatt, she should be really sweet than.

The Pickle isn't for Hunting, just if I'm shooting alot in the backyard, good thing is that there's no change in POI with or without it :)

Today I reached the 1.000 pellet shot mark.

not one malfunction, not one double tap, no missfires, no Jams

I might have a tiny leak, but it's hard to tell, it's such a minute diffrance on the pump gage from when I put it away to once I start pumping it again the next day, it could be the diffrence in air pressure from when hot or cold, or when I bleed the pump, either way not a big deal since this gun don't sit much :)

I see, we mean the same thing, we just call it differently :)

No, not my thing, just can't see any advantage in a Hunting Rifle with that Mod

Just an idea, for off hand shots with my disco I fold the right leg down and use it as a fore grip and can deff tell that I'm a little steady that way.. but like I said just an idea

I swear this Platform if sooo much fun to shot,..now I'm looking forward for the .357 to come out, I'll get me one for sure, was going to get the Rogue but this guns With the Semi-auto feature and the fact that you don't need to cock the gun or ever have a round in the chamber to clear if you can't take a shot just make them the perfect hunters IMO

No structual need for them just pure looks,..I like the no panels version much better, makes the gun look slimmer :)

i think i want a rifle of each caliber starting with 22 and going up to a 50 one day.

I have to give Evanix credit.  They have done a very nice job with the scope mounting rail on the Max.  Most bullpups leave a lot to be desired with their overhanging rails that just scream "bump me!"

And,  gun looks great in black!  Something about fancy wood on a hi-tech looking gun like the Max is just wrong.

Nice job.

Tom

I can easily get a 3 rounds burst inside a Quater at 25 yards, sometimes inside a Nickle, the 3 round burst is very controllable and could turn out to be usefull in certain hunting situations.

getting ready to leave for a Hunt with the MAX in a couple of Hours :)
