I just received one of these rifles today from the S.G. and its a pretty rifle. The stock is really looks nice and the 3x9 scope doesn't look bad either. Anyway I've got the scope mounted and think it's ready to go. What should I do now, run a couple patches through the bore, lube any pivot point???
Thanks for any help, this is my first rifle.

The first thing to do with any AR is to clean the barrel. NEVER use a wire brush or metal rod of any kind. I only use Hoppes BoreSnakes. They do a fantastic job and are extremely reliable and easy to use once you learn how.
Since this is your first AR, NEVER, NEVER, EVER put any kind of oil into anything that even gets close to the spring chamber, no matter what the user manual tells you. It can lead to dieseling/detonation upon firing and can ruin a good rifle and can in certain instances be dangerous.
Since you are new, you really should go through the "GTA Library" listed on the top of the web page and learn all you can about air gunning. There is more to learn than you may have ever dreamed. If you have the slightest question about anything that you can't get answered there, immediately ask here in the forums. That is what the forum is all about and that is what we are all here for.
Good shooting!
