My 909 liked just about anything, but my favorite was the EPP/UG .458
the Hornady Roundball was great too.
Before thinking the ammo is no good, Practice a lot because shooting a big bore PCP is completely different than shooting a small bore PCP
It takes a bit to get it right.

I ordered some 155gr EPP-UG's from Mark Whyte at
http://www.whyteleatherworks.com/BigLube.html
They make 1 hole groups at 25 yards, and with my non-tuned 909s, about 720fps on the high power setting. It's what I have been (unsuccessfully) deer hunting with this season.
$35 for 250 is a pretty reasonable price. Note, it took almost 2 months to get them.
If you would like to try some, msg me and we can work out shipping a couple dozen to you.
