Why waste time and energy and create a possible safety risk when the CDT triggers are the end all beat all?Richard

Modding? I think you could ask this question for just about everything you do to an Air Gun.Why buy a QB78, and add an LDC, an convert it to HPA and etc........when Crosman provides the MRod?
I just did the 10mm screw adjustment on my Crosman Quest 1000x I picked up a few days ago, it lightened the trigger pull off the second stage by half and the first stage is essentially really loose just like someone mentioned about the spring slop.I've been really happy with it, much better than the manufactures settings. I know theres much love for the golden triggers, I would have been happy to go that route but I live outside the US in New Zealand where noone stocks it, although if anyone wants to send one my way I'll love them long time
You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.Lets put the CDT GRT into proper perspective. It's 32$ shipped. This is roughly 3-4 tins of pellets. At 32$, CDT is practically giving them away.Let me add that they come fast so there is no need for an interim solution that will leave holes in your ceiling.Tom
What i really can't stand is the coffee grinder i get in the first stage. Its like sandpaper, and isn't getting any better with use.
.....i went the full 15 rounds fighting with this rifle to find an accuracy issue that turned out to be a bad barrel that in the end i was able to rescue and get the rifle to shoot well....after more.than 2 years of trying....
