There's a club in this forum whose members have hit there intended target well enough at 100 yards or more, and quite frankly, its a membership I would like to be a member of. Nothing is more telling than consistency and accuracy.
That being said, what sort of rifle is needed to attain that distance? I'm well aware that my arms will cradle said weapon, my eye will look through said sights on this weapon, and my nuances will play a roll in how this weapon performs. The human element in whether someone can make that shot on a consistent basis is included in my question. So anyone care to list, say, a top 5, of the air rifles that they know can meet or exceed 100 yards?
Thanks....

Hum, what club?
What sort of accuracy are you looking for? one minute of angle? or maybe four minutes of angle?
I can hit a four inch steel target pretty 100% with my marauder .22 at a hundred but that's about as good as it gets.
You must likely will need one of those high dollar guns for one minute.
Just saying.......

I made the N.U.A.H. Club (nothing under a hundred) here on the GTA forum with a .22 Airforce talon.
I scored a sub 2inch group. At 100.
I can do 4 inches at 100 with my .177 marauder, if I judge the wind right..
Yes a lot if the rifles that do well are the higher end guns.
But there are many of us that qualify with joe average PCP guns..

I make 2 predictions;
ON THE DATE WHEN US TROOPS ARE ISSUED AN Energy Pulse Weapon,
1. The US Soldier will have on his person a version of the Colt 1911.
2. He will be aiming the NEW Weapon at someone carrying an AK47.
