Thanks for all the great replies gentlemen, I have decided to keep the marauder and I will sell the discovery don't have a lot of money anymore so I can't keep a bunch of it sitting around in a rifle I will rarely used. Of course All the tins of pellets I bought were .22 so I guess they will go with the Disco.Guess I will see what pellets this Mrod likes in the next few days. Hope it likes H&N trophies, got about a k of those.
Paintballs at 25 yards are fun but momma will kick my butt if I do that in the basement

PB's at 25 yards with a PCP is too easy !! with PB's at 50 being not that difficult either.Ah the realm of the modern PCP ... Good stuff
One of my powder burner shooting buddies who doesn't mind shooting my air guns, but doesn't want to own one asked me this question once.."Since they are so accurate, what do you do when you get bored with hitting little bitty targets?"I answered either move the existing targets farther out, or start shooting at smaller targets..This guy is a nice guy, but if you hand him a rifle with a full magazine, don't expect to get it back with any rounds left, powder burner, or air gun..
Ron is speaking from much time behind a repeater PCP all I can say is find the magic pellet and hope you can find a cheap one for plinking that is almost as good . I can burn through a tin in a day or 2 when I am bored and just shooting little plastic soldiers in the basement at 10 yards.

Amazes me how much the point of impact moves when just changing pellets. So far it hates anything from Gamo, 10 inch groups at 15 yds are NOT good. Down to quarter sized at 30 with the Trophy's. Bought them because Booger said the Silent Cat he gave me liked them. Looks like the Mrod does too. . The only thing I don't like about the Mrod is the weight. It was Not made for trekking through the woods looking for small quick four footed noise boxes.
have you tried cp domes 10.5 or jsb 8.4 or 10.34?
Christmas mints are cheap and explode quite nicelyAnd the critters in the neighborhood have nice minty breathTom
