Shoebox Compressor Review?

Hi again all,
As Badredbird mentioned, the Shoebox Compressor is out there for (in regards to big bores) and I'm wondering who out there has it and what are your reviews. I've heard there is a belt-driven model? How is it? Everyone think the "bugs" are worked out of it and it's a good buy? I'd really like to know as I have a potential 3 hour round trip time to fill a 4500 psi carbon fiber tank...those of you that have any experience with it, please let me know how you like it. Thanks!

I've had a shoebox for a while now and I absolutely love it. I have the older chain driven model and it's just an awesome little compressor. The reviews I've read on the new belt driven models report it's much quieter but the noise mine makes doesn't bother me or anyone else in the house so I'm just leaving mine the way it is. Getting my shoebox was the best thing I ever did and made me love my PCP's even more

i have the chain driven its not loud at all, like a sewng machine , but i heard belt is half as quiet., i love mine not one problem, you do need to lube with silicone grease. i recommend you get the stainless steel polished rods, its like evrything else if you adhere to directions, and do the maintenance which is basically lubing it whe n it tells you , you should have no problems it fills my double tube recluse in 14 mins, it fills it and i like at the rate of fill it doesnt create any heat on the seals , i highly higly recommend one, you do need to feed it with an oilless compresor set at 85 lbs and put some time of water separator in the line just to get out condensation , or a dessicant filter , they can be rebuilt, doesnt take long and kit is 25 dollars every 500 hours of use if maintained ,very simple to do, i havent met anyone who has one that just doesnt love it, unless you like lugging scubas around toi get filled, i do keepone as a backup or take on the road, but to me a shoebox is a must have simple to operate , maintain , and if need rebuild a rebuild kit is 25 bucks, i use a small pancake compressor to feed mine

ps if you get the fittings from joe brancato , it will fill a 4500 psi carbon fiber lol just what you would save in gas, but i like to hook it up directly to the gun , just easier for me slower fill better for the seals

Well..you all sold me. I just can't see going that far (with the price of gas) to get fills.
Oh, could someone please give me a link to Joe Brancato and the Guppy? (I'd like to have all the correct stuff here, and another tank would be nice.)
My, my, my...there IS a lot of neat stuff to buy out there, isn't there? Good thing I know how to take out my own kidney!
