I´d go with a 85 Vortex .22 Camo, if I were in your shoes.
Model 85 is not necessarily a 26 fpe rifle. More like ballpark of 20-22 fpe. Some examples may be shoot a little harder, but not all. The 125 on the other hand is a legitimate 30 fpe rifle. Matt15- If I were in your shoes, being that you already have a decent hunter in .22 so you can get ammo off the shelf, I would rock the 125 in .25 caliber. You just have to experience the big .25 for yourself, it is something else my friend. You might also consider stepping up to the 135 for $30 more. No scope, but you'll be lucky if the one that comes with the 125 makes it through the first tin of pellets. It is a beast!
You have a trail in your signature line. Still have it?
If you are satisfied with the 2100 as your daily shooter, .25 is the way to go. If not, .22 is a good compromise. If you have a good monthly budget for ammo, or if you don't shoot often, .25 is still the better choice. .22 has a flatter trajectory, but this is not a bench rest gun or a long range sniper. In my honest opinion this gun is at it's best in .25.

Also do you know the size of the 125 .25 cal's groups at 50 yards and what is the best pellet?
Once you hold and shoot those big .25 cal pellets it is hard to go back to a .22 cal. Don't get me wrong, nothing at all against .22, and either will do the job easily on squirrel sized game, but those big .25 pellets are just habit forming... . The down side will be that you will almost certainly have to order the pellets online, and they are a bit more expensive. I have both calibers and enjoy them both, but really like .25 for hunting.
