Casted about 400 rounds yesterday...194g REALs and 143 grain roundballs for the Sam Yang 909. Sized all of the REAL boolits to .457, weighed them, rolled them on glass to check for wobble, sorted all of the 194 grainers out, then ran them through the resizer one more time. Have 90 rounds of those in my hunting pellet case. These shoot really well out of my 909, but last batch was at around 198 grains, so there must have been some alloy mixed in. The first batch I did was pure lead, this batch was a lot of recycled pellets and it is harder. Will be interesting to test some rounds...

Happy with the new rounds.... 3/4 inch groups. This is only at 25 yards, really curious to see if the open up at 50 and beyond. The other areas on the target were tests from other rounds. Had to go watch the video to make sure. Was also testing some other slugs as well.

Good Stuff.
Try stirring your mix about every 5 cast or so to see if consistency improves. The lighter alloys float to the top IIRC and some even can burn off if the temp is too high LIKE TIN!.
