50 yard shot

I used my Benjamin Trail NP all weather to hit a coke can at 50 yards pretty consistently.I had to aim above the can about an inch and all the shots were in the bottom half of the can .I thought a 50 yard shot could be held right on the cross hairs because it has an adjustable paralax ,but it is sighted in around 20-23 yards which I guess makes sense.I really like the way this gun shoots,it is very accurate at close distances.

Check out "chairgun" ballistics (free download) and then you'll know the arc of your pellet.....provided you know the type and velocity out of the barrel.

that's really not much drop for a trail zeroed at 20 yards. probably has a better piston seal than most do right out of the box. pretty good shooting too, drilling the bottom of a can from 50 yards with your trail. doesn't get much better- just imho

Each gun will be different. My 470 has same poi at 20 and 55 yds with 10.2 gr jsb but diff pellets will hit diff spots. Chair gun pro is good and airgun helper is on the android market that does the same thing. They will help you figure out your drop then you just go shoot and figure out your actual.
