Quote from: Tims229 on November 23, 2016, 08:17:18 PMThanks for all the replies. I ordered a full shroud from Rocker1 this morning. It'll replace entire current shroud only about 5 inches longer. Should be a nice clean finished look. I'll excited to get it and try it out.If you don't mind--how much for the full shroud from Dave? The LDC?Thanks!Ed

It would be impossible to make any air gun totally silent. My original intention was to lower the sound level on my stock Prod, the reason I started this thread. The many suggestions lead me to get a Rocker1 full shroud. I personally have heard the difference between stock and this new shroud. The sound now is much lower than in stock form. This is what I was wanting to accomplish. I'm happy with the results and wanted to share with others of these results. My PRod is not silent, you can still hear the hammer striking the valve. However it is quieter by a substantial level compared to stock form. I hope that this thread will help other folks that might be wanting the same results. That is why I followed up on what my results were with my new shroud, that's all.
Got the Rocker1 full shroud today in the mail. Looks very nice on my Prod, sounds even better. I took her down to my chronograph room after installing the shroud and shot some crosman premier magnums through it. They were the loudest before the shroud. Amazing how quiet it was with the new shroud installed. Looks nice and clean and well made.

A little off subject but just wondering if anybody else has a hard time removing the fill cap. Even after putting a bit of silicone grease on the sides of the nipple mine is still a literal pain (arthritis!) to remove. Ed
