I bought a PA in .25 when Field Supply had them for $209 - didn't know what I was going to do with it but couldn't pass that up. It is now a bullpup and the stock pump bits & bobs are gone but I added a lever forward of the trigger group so I can cycle the action while it is still shouldered.Couple of power mods and I can make 50FPE conservatively for a few magazines. Wrung out it'll do about 80FPE, just not for many shots.
Wow that was a buy. So got any pictures of the final project. I can imagine with your power cranked up to 80FPE on a 180cc tank, your shots will be limited, lol.I have my .22 short "out of the box stock" and I calculate 3 bar per shot of air usage. So about 33 to 35 shots, when my dive tanks are fresh fills.
Well... you guys got me hooked... I just got a 44 long.I must say that first impressions are that it's a pretty good quality rifle. Out of the box it producesa bit more power than the marauder and gets about 5 more shots at good power.also, accuracy out of the box is better and just looking at the crown, I know it's going to get even better.I need time to play with it and would love to cut the tube and put a regulated tank on it.... The 850 Store closes December and January for some R&D and to give me time to work on my own guns Putting a tank on this and the Marauder .25 is right at the top of my list.
