Any reason the washers would raise the POI signifigantly over the stock ones?
Anyone know the usual turn around time on ordering these from airguntoyz? I ordered a set last Tuesday and have not received any shipping notice.
I received my Brass washers & spacer today, i also received a confirmation that my trigger is shipping todayToday was a good day as I shot a 1-1/2" dia. target at 45 yards and hit it 8 out of 10 times, This gun may be settling in, and now I am going to take it down for a tune, hoping for better not worse, after tune/deburI think my trail likes a different hold, a tighter artillery hold in front of the trigger with my thumb above barrel, with a firm grip, almost like clamping the action to the stock, could It be my grip is holding something tighter that may be loose that is causing the larger groups this also got rid of the extra movement of my barrel.Barrel screws are tight, I may look at the barrel screws to see if they are too long and bottoming out and allowing the action to move very slightly in the stock, I may go to hardware store and get next size shorter screw for all three stock screws. Has anyone steel/Brass shimmed between the stock and action, Ala Mosin nagant accuracy fix, this may make a firmer mount between action and stock and have minimal stock to action contact, it may also take up any looseness due to stock's screws being too longI am thinking that I still may be pulling the gun a little maybe due to the stock trigger's long pull, i have been priming the trigger as far as possible, and holding breath at top of inhale, while gently squeezing the trigger and waiting for the follow through. This has helped but I want better.I am thinking the Planed Mods, complete clean, debur, & tune, should make this rifle a Much better shooter

Yes if I remember correctly Dave Easly has used steel shims between the stock and action. A real big issue is the wood stocks are soft wood. As we tighten the screws up we compress the wood. Then they loosen up again. It is not always the case where the screws back of but the wood keeps getting compressed. A synthetic stock in many cases is the cure... But I dont care for synthetic stock...Gene
