Title: crosman 130 not pumping
Post by: redhawk44357 on April 30, 2011, 06:41:08 PM

Was dusting off my 130 and gave it some oil and when i tried to pump it , i found that it wouldnt pump up. I took off the grips and got a look inside, oiled there too, checked for anything obvious and put it back together. Still would pump up.......any suggestions???

If we are talking about the same gun,..your seal dried up and shrunk down a bit, so your losing the air-tight seal. my buddy had a crosman 130c , 22 cal pistol from like the 60's i think. had the twist and slide breech and the gun "cocks" after pumping 2 times and the pressure builds against the  inside valve. His dad gave it to hi and it wouldnt hold air. I ended up having to replace the pump seal, o-rings, bolt probe o-ring, I replaced the felt oiler and the plastic piece inside of the valve as well. That thing is pretty awesome now. chucks 14.3gr CHPP's at 410 fps with 10 pumps and he can get about 440fps at 15 pumps. Solid little pistol. Its a very easy disassembly with simple tools. I will have to dig and see if i can find where i ordered the parts from. hope that helps you out dude. If your not interested in your fixer upper, i would be!! =)

well..............i've had it a long time.  But i do have alot of guns to play with and i prob could do with parting with it. Its not a great looker, but with the parts you suggest, it would be a great plinker.  A possible trade i would consider.
