Keep in mind, that size recommendation was in conjuction with a BSB o-ring mod. If you were going to use traditional preload/throw tune, the optimal size will probably be different.Crosman does not have a TP that comes in that size. Prod which is largest is 0.080". Stock 1720T is 0.067", 1701P is 0.043". Just drill one to 7/64". or buy one from Marmot Militia / WAR made to size.
Did you get the extra transfer port they come with? If so "I" would just drill one of them, likely the smaller one in your case. With the factory larger port I am getting just under 10fpe for 24 "good"-es 20fps- shots, , please post numbers when you get it all set up.John
I thought one was .109....but I can't find the pic on computer here at work.
Pretty sure the TP from a Canadian version 1377 (sub-500 fps) is .109"... . Should be able to order one from Crosman.
TP from 1377 and other crosman guns are completly differet. Even the Mrod one won't fit unless you turn it down, ie shorten it.
It takes about 30 seconds to drill out a tp if you are really slow.
Are the TP's from a 1701P the same? If so, I have a couple 1701P TP's here that I would be happy to chuck up in the lathe and drill out to whatever size you want, BigTinBoat. If you would like them (2) PM me your address and I will send them out to ya...
