Last week I went ahead and bought a New Hill Hand Pump from Larry Saywer @ http://www.10pt9.com/Hill-Hand-Pump-p167.html (http://www.10pt9.com/Hill-Hand-Pump-p167.html)
to give my one year old Air Force pump a rest. Wow , The Hill Pump takes only 53 pumps to bring my .22 Marauder from 2000 K
Back up to 3000 K . My .22 Marauder up for 3000 PSI Start Pressure and Re-Charge at 1800-2000 PSI giving me 5-6 Clips,
Basically giving me 50 to 60 shots on 1000-1200 PSI. The Hill Pump is about 1/2 the pumping and fills Twice as fast as the Air
Force Pump. I am currently still saving for about a Half of dozen Projects such as my First .357 Caliber Rifle , A .45 & .50 Caliber
Rifle and A 88 CF Carbon Fiber Tank , Regulator and SS Hoses & Fittings. So I will be Using the Hill for quite while longer so
for $228 Shipped to my door . I will not use the Din 200 female adapter ( Used for 10 Meter Match Pistols & Rifles ) I Have
a 6' SS High Pressure Hose with Quick Release Coupling so I can take the Foster off and switch to a Probe to fill several
different Rifles. It is nice to have the Rifle I am charging on a towel on a table and the pump on the floor. I had to by a Hill
Brass 1/8 to 1/4 inch adapter for $18 so I could use my 6' SS hose with the Hill. Pilkguns Has the Complete Hill for $228 Also.

A Replacement Hose for Hill pump is $25. A Micron Filter Kit for Hill pump is $10. They have every Thing Hill even the Re-Seal

That's my next purchase for sure, being waiting for one to show up in the classified, but if not in the next future I'll order a new one, thanks for the link, I rather not go thru AoA

Pilkguns is nice to deal with and they have everything the Hill needs, And $228 for a Hill Pump is a great price.
I am still not used to pumping 1/2 the amount and having the 207 Bar come twice as fast. You will really, really
like the Hill Pump.

Just to toss this in, the Hill from StraightShooters comes with the "DryPack"
for the $289(opps SORRY I reread an you have down Sharp Shooters not StraightShooters).

Thanks for the Name correction. Pilkguns Sells the Hill Pump & Dry Pac for $286. .Straight Shooters has the Hill Pump & Dry Pac for $289. Its very close. However to replace a Dry Pac Kit @ Straight Shooters its $100, Where Pilkguns its $58. Pilkguns has Hill Replacement Parts for less. Check out both sites, Pilkguns has Hill Hoses for $25. Dry Pac Re-Fills $8 , A Micron Filter Kit for $10.I am not Downing Straight Shooters or Anyone. I am just pointing out a Supply Store that has the same for less & with great service Thats all. I shop around with everything, I try to save where I can, And look for Good Deals. Straight Shooters has there low prices on a lot of Great products too Im Sure. What is nice about Pilkguns is you can get a Hill pump for $228 and have the option of adding a Dry Pac for $ 58 down the line, Or Just pay $286 and get the Hill and Dry Pac all at once. I feel being able to afford a Hill pump for $228 and adding the Dry Pac down the line is quite cost effective way of being able to own a great pump. Or people like me who have a Dry Pac and dont want to buy another one. And I was not Downing anybody or anyones company,I was just passing a Fact on a price and options.

Im very new to pcp however im purchasing a discovery and need to know when i do purchase the hill pump from pilkguns for the 229 thats being offer for what else would i need for the discovery as far as hose or adapters are concern do i need to add before purchase is made ....jorge

Check out the Benjamin Pump, It is Made for the Discovery Rifle. Check out this site. I am not sure who has the Best price,
However its a start. You can also read up on different Hand Pumps for PCPs. This pump comes with the hose & Foster
fitting to fill your Rifle. You would have to buy a Hose and adapter with a Hill Pump. Tell the sales person where you buy
it from what Type of Rifle you are filling and I am sure they can help you get the Correct Parts needed for your application
if you go with a Hill and not a Benjamin Pump. Check out all of your options before you buy. Good Luck

Google "Announcement: ****PUMP WARNING DO NOT BUY!******". If someone decides to buy a hand-pump, and it isn't a HillPump, then that is on them. Though folks weighing under 150lbs may have some trouble with them.
The only thing you ever have to replace in the dry pac are the little round white balls that absorb the moisture. I think that the above prices for dry pac stuff is for the complete dry pac unit, not the replacement absorbent material.

LOL, Gary no problem Bro., really I thought you had found a place called "Sharp Shooters" with the pumps, never crossed my mind you were putting any place down, an hey $8 for the refills from pilks is a good price, Thanks for the info as I'll need a new refill soon.

Thanks Jay. Yes Pilkguns has some good Prices. I get my Napier Hunter Pellets from Straight Shooters and The H&N
Baracuda Green Pellets also. They have good Prices on them. I am going to need to get the Re-Fill for the Hill Dry Pac,
and $8 Dollars is a good price. Cool Deal and LOL , Have a great day.

Thanks Jet ,i really like the hill cause of its review and less work than the discovery pump and also could be used on other pcps ..the axsor is another one im thinking about cause i could fill my qb78 bulk fill without purchasing any other adapter which is better for the winter usage....well of to the mall i go ...jorge

I've had an Axsor for a few years now and haven't found anything wrong with it. It doesn't get hard use, because scuba tanks are my normal fill devices, but it always works well.

lloyd its a rough decsion to make cause the hill is great and the asxor also i have seen good reviews on both however since i have to purchase pellets and pump im lookin to purchase from one store instead of paying twice on shipping ..i been looking through the mall for two days and so far it seems i will have to make separate purchases unless i buy another pcp lol .i havent got my first and im thinking of another i said in a previous post that i was sick but now i see im really ill lol ...thx lloyd it helps when i get feedback from owners of products i look for ...jorge
