I need to add more information on the lead contained in paint. I know people have different opinions. When we were growing up we did not wear helmets when riding, but it is proven that helmets saves lives. Same is true with education of the lead in paint.Due to containing both lead and hexavalent chromium, lead(II) chromate is profoundly toxic.Lead(II) chromate is a poison, and can be fatal if swallowed or inhaled.Lead(II) chromate is a known carcinogen, developmental toxicant, and reproductive toxicant. It is also suspected that lead(II) chromate is a cardivascular or blood toxicant, immunotoxicant, kidney toxicant, neurotoxicant, respiratory toxicant, and a skin toxicant or sense organ toxicant.

So, back to the Weirauch from China hoax.
Maybe it was some some bad Chinese lead-paint that made the German's goofy and in a weak brat-n-beer fueled moment they decided to make guns in China. How's that for a conspiracy?!
Bille received an email from Weihrauch saying that their arms will always be made in Germany.
Just received an HW95 from AOA on Friday and it says "Made in Germany". So the production hasn't moved there yet although nobody can say for sure what will or will not happen in the future. I'm happy with the quality and for $299 (plus shipping) it's a great deal. Cheers,John
