Wow, great shot!
Awesome Shooting! The CPHP's don't work too well with my springer 95, so that's interesting that they work so well in your 95 Vortex. If it works, it works.

If it works, it works. Thanks Logan! I seem to be getting very good results with the CPHP's in my springer as well. But, I have to tell you, I can't really be sure with the springer because I have chosen to use it with only the rifle sights. It just feels so nice to pick up a "lighter" weight gun and ping at stuff! My original reason for getting into air rifles was somewhat of a "prepper" decision and in doing so I hope to stock a LOT of ammo. I'm simply not in the position to pay twice as much for better ammo with plans like this so it's my hope that I will be able to somehow "bring my guns to my ammo". Fortunately I'm having wonderful success with the CPHP in my Hatsan's and our Benjamin Titan's. This has been out to 50 yards or so and without a real "tune" on any of the guns yet. It'll be a shame if my luck goes down hill after they get their tunes! If so, I'll start all over. If I have to swage pellets and resize or sort weights or whatever, I plan to go with the Crosman's if at all possible because of price. So far they have been controllable, for the most part, up to 50 yards and this suits me fine. Controllable meaning, if I do my part, and carefully consider all other factors, we can shoot 1 1/2" groups fairly consistently. I do get the occasional undersize pellet that makes me wonder but I don't count it if it goes wild cause you expect it might but even they do fairly well. I've only shot one can of the domed ones and they may have done even better but that was in the beginning. I may try them as well once I've stocked the cheaper HP's.
Freebird,What do you think of the Hawke Varmint 3x12x44? I've heard mixed reviews. Other members have said you experience a POI change if you change powers. Hence, if your shooting at 12 and then go two 6, the POI changes horizontally? When I get the cash, I'd like to get a good 3x12x44 or 4x16x44 Hawke. So far I've heard nothing bad about the 4x16x44.However, the 4x16 is another $50 to $75 bucks...........Kirk
