Great to hear your loving your new Hatsan!Just got my springer version today and it's doing great as well!Be sure to tighten the big phillips stock screw at the trigger housing area. If it gets loose like mine did the round pins that sit covered halfway by the stock just above the trigger group will vibrate out and make a mark on your stock. They are not really press fit. As soon as you can take that phillips stock screw out and apply some blue locktite. The screw has a star lock washer under it so make sure not to loose it when you take the screw out for locktite. If this screw loosens it will allow the metal portion of the gun to move inside the wood stock and it will throw your shots off. There's really not much warning about this because the gun seems to sit tight even though it isn't. Don't wait for it to get loose before you do this.
Hey AHMSA, Glad to hear that you are enjoying your Hatsan 95 Vortex. I look forward to hearing more about the accuracy you get at longer ranges (30+yards). I have been vacillating between a Hatsan 95 and a Beeman R9 and am leaning towards the more expensive R9 only because of the stellar accuracy that it has. If the Hatsan 95 Vortex can approach the B9 accuracy though, I will get the Hatsan!

If the Hatsan 95 Vortex can approach the B9 accuracy though, I will get the Hatsan!I still have not had a chance to truly do an accuracy test for my Hatsan 95. I took it to the range but only to find that the scope slid down the rail (scope creep). I just ordered a one-piece mount to take care of this.
Thank you very much for the information. So the stop pin that comes with the mount will not work with the Hatsan without doing a mod? If this is the case, does the mount eliminate scope creep?I like your method for mounting the scope. I actually use a very similar method and find it to work well for me.
Hey Novi, MI,I think the UTG mount you ordered will work, but the the UTG Accushot Offset, 1 piece mount is best. Because of the needed scope stop, the scope does not travel back far enough for perfect viewing. Also, I not sure, but the mount's medium height maybe too low for any scope above a 30mm objective lens.PS: Also, get rid of the Optima scope and buy atleast a UTG or Hawke 3x9x40 ($75-$100).Kirk..............formally from Garden City, MI
Here's one more pic that may help someone.I threw my Hatsan Optima scope which is on the "High mount" UTG 1-piece on to the springer and placed it beside the "Medium mount" which is holding 44mm Hawke scope so you can get a better comparison. Hope it helps to see them together.
Hey All,Here is one of my 95's with the UTG Accushot Offset mount. You use the scope stop normally (w/2 screws), because the mount gives extra room on the backend. I've had two (older) scope stops using only (1) screw sheered off from recoil .Good Luck ...........Kirkhttp://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n227/kirk_schwarz/Hatsan95177cal2_zpsc861906f.jpg
