There's no way I would buy a bullpup though. Maybe if I shot one I would change my mind, but I absolutely hate the way they look.
If you hunt or shoot standing bullpups are much more comfortable guns to use and that shows in your groups. Benchrest is the only game where I choose a gun with traditional stock over bullpup and even that may change in the future. If looks are important then by all means go traditional, some people still hunt with bows. A high power (long barrel needed, 28+") traditional bigbore with decent sound suppression gets awfully long in the 50-60" region.
The BullDog is actually the way to go in .357, the Marauder crunchy bolt action would have been a pain with the .357 power, the lever action is the way to go.the Bulldog magazine is perfect since it sit flush and don't stick out like the kooky Marauder one, the Marauder air reservoir would have been a nightmare for shot count/power.to make it as quiet as it is it would have been a mile long in rifle configuration ( people always cry so loud for backyard friendly )I think the did right, keep the Marauder since it sells, and start with a new platform
I hope your doing some .357 Bulldog shooting today.. Many of us AG addicts are waiting on some real world results..
I got my bull dog today and will post some more after I get it together. It grows on you like all good air guns I just hope it doesn't end up like a wart and I have to cut it off. This airgun crack is quite an addiction but the advantage over the other crack is you have something to look at everyday. It may be more expensive though.
