Actually kind of giggled when I did it how idea the placement was keeping the throat shallow, back from the poppet sealing surface sufficiently too. Any bigger transfer size and you will be in trouble ( IMO )

can a valve stem be too long? If so, is there a way to determine if a specified length is going to be too long to hold up against repeated beatings by the hammer??
You can purchase a 1/2" OD barrel in .22 cal from TJ's.... 0.217" groove and it shoots like a dream....
Nice work Motorhead,I wish I had a Milling machine .... Bye the way, any particular reason why you went with a Huub/Huma regulator (all the way from -> Holland ) in lieu of other choices? Kirk.........
I would reconsider the design of the plenum spacer, I have made one just like it out of 304 SS and it buckled inside the tube. I thought it was thick enough, 1/4" wide/.072 or so thick. It would be safer to use 1/4 steel rods as the spacers, just make a holder to spread the loads evenly.Great work so far though, awesome!
