I had to look again... The thread is titled "Flying Dragon Rifles" not I bought this POS at the local department store and it twangs like all get out, shoots behind me when I'm pointing it forward and blows my eyebrows in my eyes out the breech seal. That wouldn't make it out Mike's door. No doubt Chinese is Chinese, that ain't what the tread is about. It's about what Mike does with a Chinese springer, how he treats his customer and what to expect if the gun fails. Trust, if this thread was titled "German quality vs. Chinese clones" you wouldn't be reading any of this. Matter of fact, you might just be hearing the sound of crickets.

I keep reading how great Mikes rifles are. I keep telling myself I'm going to order one someday. FINE! After reading this thread I just ordered a xs46u 177cal full tune. Now look what you guys made me do. I need help. and the madness goes on.
Sorry guys but I have to show my immaturity a bit...Pumpers rule... Springers Droooool (and twang and droop and eat scopes and, and , and, and,)

So he kinda faded out of the hobby AFAIK.
Correct me if I'm wrong, aren't some of the German guns put together with Chinese parts ... I seem to recall something about barrels...

My 12 fpe tuned XS46U could give me headshots on rabbits at 60+ yards. Don't believe me? Hmpf!Nice shooting Chris.OK so it looks like you have $225 dollars into your rifle per your provided links. AOA has a well received rifle on sale for $299 + around 30 bucks shipping (if memory serves from what has been reported here). It was not clear to me if you had additional shipping charge on top of the $225? Regardless, even if there is a $105 difference the rifle comes with a limited lifetime warranty. What kind of warranty does the Chinese rifle come with? It looks like you have the Gas Ram version XS46U (if I read correctly), which according to flying dragoon: " Note: We no longer offer this rifle with a gas ram configuration."Hows that going to work out if you have issues down the road with your gas ram?The above example, (even if I do not have all the details correct) and along with my previous post's pluses to own a German Rifle, IMO makes the AOA example a less likely risk and better investment.E

I own one of Mike's tuned Co2 rifles. It amazes me with it's accuracy, every tine I shoot it. Great guy too.
