***ALL MEMBERS READ*** GTA Merchandise Purchase
« on: July 26, 2010, 05:40:39 PM »
I've been discussing GTA merchandise with Gene and Bob. The old supplier can't be reached so I've been looking for a new supplier. Problem is, most or all willing to take on the job want an initial outlay of cash to cover a certain amount of merchandise. Gene and Bob did not do this before as a "for profit" venture but just to get the GTA logo merchandise out to the members that wanted it. I was hoping to find a similar arrangement and I'm still looking. I have one local advertising friend that is trying to work with me and what GTA Forums needs/wants.
What I need to see is how many of you are wanting or willing to purchase GTA merchandise. This will not only tell me whether I should persue it and also tell the vendor what type of volume he can expect. Before, the hats were $15 and t-shirts were $17.50. Please place your vote yea or nea as to whether you would purchase said merchandise. It's a chance for us to show our colors. :)
And I missed out on the merchandise before we lost the old vendor. I WANT MY GTA.....wear.
Thanks and....
Happy Shooting!!!!
Dave

I would like tan collared shirts with left chest pocket, for my glasses !

And I love those older style caps with a flat front, not like the ones we have now, that have a round front that contours to your head !

GTA Decals and Patches would be nice !!!!

Thanks for the input. You can tell me in the post but I added the poll so I could have an accurate count and at a glance. I can't tell by reading all the threads whether you voted or not. To keep an accurate idea, I need everyone to take a second and click on the poll.
Thanks again guys & gals.

Here's a few examples. This is the old logo, I don't have a good copy of the new one yet. Gene or Bob can send me a copy to my email? :)

Well so far we have had no luck on finding a merchant that will work with us like the one Bob had found. I want a couple more shirts myself and a couple hats. Dave is talking with a merchant right now to see if we can get the same setup like we had before. If that does not pan out then I think we will just post a link somewhere on the GTA with the logo download so each of us can just buy our own where it is convienent.

I personally do not have problem doing that but it was much easier before.

That's about the way that it worked out before. :( :(  They never did have much of a drawing for some reason.  ??? ???  I personally bought and gave away more shirts and hats to  guys at the Funshoots/Shootouts that we went to and a few to the guys that did the TV show representing the GTA than were ever sold.

Thanks to JimH for securing a vendor we can order some GTA merchandise from. http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php/topic,1364.0.html

I haven't stopped working my end of it and am still in talks with another vendor that carries different merchandise. They have different caps and polo shirts with pockets, among other items. I'll post the outcome of my talks with the vendor some time in the coming week. In the meantime, check out the links Jim posted. :)
FINALLY some GTA merchandise!!!!

Well it looks like something may be worked out between the efforts af Jim and Dave. Both Gene and I on behalf of the membership would like to thank them for their efforts. Here's hoping... ;D ;D.

Keep in mind that no matter which way it goes, or perhaps possibly both ways, it is a not for profit endeavor on the part of the GTA. Any funds that may be generated will go into the "Graceful Kitty" for the operation of the GTA. 8) 8)

The designs are awesome, great options. I'm boring, too many shirts - don't wear hats....
As with local fund raising, I tend to give cash rather than get involved in merchandise. (every time they have a school candy bar sale, I want to "EUJIN" myself. lol)

Dave, I've got some dear friends that do embroidery and screen printing. In the past, they have done some short runs for me very reasonably. As the numbers get posted and there's some idea about quantities, I'll bounce it off them to get a comparison and will pass the #s along to you. Couldn't hurt.
