MM Tuned Bandit Slayer

Yesterday I bought some new batteries for my ding donger and installed them in hopes that id hear something last night. To create a nice aroma in the air decided to throw out the thanksgiving scraps (U guys have no idea how "bad" I mean GOOD they smelled ). Well anyways after i finished off some deer ribs from a recent kill i went to sleep only to be waken up at 12:58 a.m. by the ding donger. After the slight concussion i recieved from having it set on high i gathered myself to grab the spot light and shine at the bait station. As i shined the light on the bait i see two glowing eyes and they immediately ran for the closest tree which was right in front of my bedroom window . Grabbed the newly MM gas rammed TF99 from the soft case and i was ready. While getting the rifle bandit exited the tree and went for the bait and when i shined the light down at the scraps the second time there six eyes gazing up at my bedroom !! They never ran with the light shining at their faces this time, and i got down behind my rifle and peered through the scope. I lined the 4x16x50 leapers up on the biggest one right between the eye and the ear and sent a 14.5 gr superdome downrange 20yds. The pellet struck right on the money and the bandit lunged forward kicked a little and was motionless. The others scattered after the shot but came back right as downed bandit expired (5 seconds). I was in total disbelief because i always thought them to be really skiddish so i wasn't ready with another pellet for another 30 seconds lol. Finally got behind the rifle again and lined the cross-hairs with the second bandit but he was facing the wrong way. The bandit kept flashing his eyes at me so i told myself if he flashes his eyes at me for long enough the next time I'm going to take the shot. No sooner than the words left my mouth he turns his to look at me and i let another superdome go and it found its marked bout a inch high between both eyes. He went into a death dance for a good 45s to a min and so i went down poked with a stick to ensure death and grabbed them for some pics. I owe these to Mike and his outstanding work!!!

Harbor Freight has them too. Usually a wee bit cheaper.

Yup after seeing two of his brother falls he thought something was fishy I guess lol. That's cool as I didn't feel like cleaning 3 LOL

Well guys these two skinned up pretty easily and  I got a two  decent furs on my hands, but what to so with them is the question? Also recovered the two pellets that put these guys fella's downs. First one on the right I found right under the skin in the neck. The middle pellet was found all the way lodged between the heart and lung. The pellet traveled almost 4 inches after entering bone WOW !! I was also surprised that they didnt flatten out a bit more since I ve been hearing coons have thick skulls for air rifles!!

Hey thanks... Ya my shooter is pushing those superdomes quite easily through these coons skull and 3 & 4 inches through flesh so I'm happy!!

No doubt it is motivation!! I will have the bait out and ding donger switched on tonight these coons have been somehow been getting into my car garage!!! Not good to step and walk on my car that I be been restoring!

Great shooting! I never used a TF 99 for raccoons but it is obvious they work.    Congrats on the hides! I haven't sealed the deal this year on any but it is mostly because I'm too lazy to sit out in the dark all night.
