Just thought I would post a heads up for everyone. I ordered a spare valve for my 392 to play with and make some mods. Ordered from Crossman last week got it today and it's Brass! The alum one comes out this weekend and the brass one with the 2 spring set up goes in. Just in case anyone is interested...thanks for all the help along the way. Oh and the new intregbase works great also thanks Greg.

PB all I know is awhile back Crosman switched to aluminum valves from brass. The Aluminum ones carode fast and alot of people complaned. Tim from Mac 1 posted that the brass ones were coming back soon. I wanted to play with mine and figured for 14 dollars it would be best to have a spare in case I screwed something up. When it came I noticed it was brass! Just did the 2 spring mod and going to install it later on tonight. I'll post the results.

Got the alum valve out and it was nasty, front oring was nicked and a long scratch down the side of the valve. Cleaned everything out well, lubed the new valve with sauce and installed. New valve has the two spring mod with washer. Put everything back together total of 15 minutes work. First 5 pumps are easy as pie last 3 still alittle tough. No crony but power seems to be up also abit. Maybe due to nicked oring. Very happy for 14 dollars.
