This is now a very common quality issue with Hatsan Rifles. I have been working with Hatsan Turkey to get this issue taken care of quickly. We will see how things play out.-Chris

I hope Airgun Depot is understanding and will let me exchange it for another brand.
Hatsan Turkey, is very receptive to my emails and I hope to get somewhere with their quality control.
The Mod95 is probably the best air gun available in its price range. Granted there are some issues with the finishing of the piston, but I feel that once it is take care of the Mod95 is an exceptional performer. Hatsan Turkey, is very receptive to my emails and I hope to get somewhere with their quality control. i would think that people would pay and extra $20 for their rifles if their QC was better. The build of their wood stocks are excellent as well as their choice of materials. They have an excellent trigger design and power plant. They seem to have a good engineering team doing the design. Where they fail is in quality control and that can brake a company no matter how well their product is designed. They might only have to spend a minute or so on finishing each piston and would be a small cost with a huge return. Win win for everyone and Hatsan could move way up the ladder.
the triggers are very good you just need to know what to do with them for adjustment, have they included a booklet with trigger adjustment info?
Sadly the issues have developed of the piston not being 100 % clean of it's shavers, when it was machined, thin metal still hanging on , you could keep a eye on that , if it cocks good, shoot's good ,you should be fine that will stay there indefinitely not hurting anything. if you decide to get that lubed tuned, or gas rammed I can clean it up for you, I will be doing some ram conversions soon, and offer cleaning and lube tuning of all internals as well. both if ram conversion is desired. my hatsan 95 i used to have was pretty good not like these coming out now. it is a quality control issue Q C the triggers are very good you just need to know what to do with them for adjustment, have they included a booklet with trigger adjustment info?let me know Mike

Yes thats what always irks me.You buy a brand rifle and then you have to rebuild it or send it back. For that kind of money it just should'nt be like that.
Terrible....Not much has changed since I got my Hatsan 125.It is still broken, sitting in the gun safe.
