that would also make sense, i connot really compare our rifles or other models for that fact, his has far more velocity also and the veriables are endless.....as far as everything else internal huh too late ive already reworked almost everything, from hand stoning all the seres to changing spring geometery, and i dont regret any of it especially polishing/ laping the barrel that made a very noticable difference, now i can stay on target much better than factory, in the firearm world we call it accurizing, in the airgun world i call it magic, not to mention laboriuos.....took me at least six hours lol

got a new AIRGUN WORLD today they have a full 2 page article on opening up the exhaust port and said DONT MESS WITH IT unless you drill and tap it ,then make threaded screw in orfices to experment with. but they claim all you do is create a huge problem . if you can find an airgun world for jan. 12 its on page 77 and 78 . but its hard to find airgun world around here but a local book store had them for the last 2 months . i now get it online but still buy the magazine when i find it
im a bomb defusing expert ... if you see me running you better pass me

Tom Gaylord has a good write up on this in his PyramydAir blog.  Jim Macarri ("JM" of Air Rifle Headquarters) did a lot of experimenting, as well.  I don't think either one will mess with a transfer port now.

The relationship to pellet speed and seating depth was explored by the Cardews in The Airgun From Trigger To Target.  They concluded that it lengthens the transfer port and, as a result, increases the area in which combustion takes place, dropping the extra pressure or boost.

thanks for the lead redfeather i like articles, its quiet true how someone else mentioned its like working with auto motors and obtaining perfect preasure is a fine line that the manufactures are far ahead of our questions....and im also sure that with different barrel options there probably is a tiny amount of gain somewhere... but the insanity involved would either ruin expectations or drive one bazerko. i in the future are going to definitly overbore then tap the port for interchangable i.d. ports on another less valuable gun , i think this project will definitly end my curiousity, very interesting , i read another article about optimum angles and placement, all my gamos use concentric placement, witch i dont think is the best, but seems to work well, just always looks dirtier on the opposed side of port
