By now many of you might know about the Cash Mob (google it) Going on for Mike at his Flying Dragon Shop.
If we don't continue to help the small American shop owner there just won't be any left. I just closed a retail shop after four years due to big biz. competition! By by nest egg !
I doubt Mike would want any charity but..
If you were even thinking of buying a really good affordable scope, or a mount, trying some new pellets or even buying a new gun that will shoot straight and retain more value being an MM Tuned gun do it this week.
This Cash Mob phenomenon is happening across the country and Americans everywhere are proudly showing we do care about the small guy that is deserving. Mike will help anyone anytime. I'll bet we sincerely wish we all could be more like that. Here is our chance.
P.S.
Maybe we could make this a monthly thing and suggest other deserving small business? What do you think?

I have done business with several people here on the forum, and I have been well satisfied with all of them.

I recently bought a XS12 from Mike that he tuned and did a few other improvements to. Mike was great to do business with, the rifle was a super deal for the price and was exactly what I wanted (told the wife I needed it!).

IMO, supporting the venders here is to all our benefit.

This sounds interesting to me. I strongly support small american businesses that give good service. What the heck is a cash mob?

My Tuned AR shipped Sat. I originally had a tuned /b on order but when I heard about the Cash Mob Idea I Changed it last week to one of his in stock /A's. 1, to create some cash flow for Mike. 2, I selfishly wanted to beat the Mob since it was going to be tuned.

and 3 It was cheaper and I'm broke!!

Being the financially irresponsible sort that I am I think I'll order one of them REX scopes. I've read pretty good things about them. $:-\$

. i'll wait till tomorrow to cal him for a couple tech questions, he really needs to put his phone number up on the front page of flying dragon too, I can't find it on the page.

I imagine Umarex after spending the bucks to rebadge it & promote it as the Ruger "LGR" are kinda miffed as well. I know Mike spent considerable time with the guys in China trying to get the kinks worked out.

Ya, Mike's great to work with, it's the Chi-factories that he is always waiting on. Umarex, PA and the rest of the world also out of stock as the Ruger LGR or... no longer available (meaning, the first production run must have had tons o' returns)

The safety and the valve seal were two major items that needed permanent design change/fixes among other stuff. Still... it's a good looking gun based on a QB78 so I hope it get's fixed soon!?

I bought my first "real" AG rifle from Mike a week or so ago - a BAM B26. Still not sure it's my cup of tea (springer),but it is accurate as all heck. I caught Mike on the way out the door, so he had grabbed the phone and we talked for a but. Great guy and I'll do whatever I can to support him.

I Googled cash mob...so what, do we pool resources here???

Also, I postged on a loca forum about bringing Air Gun hunting to our Common Wealth. Talk about a boost to the economy! Any suggestions on how to kick that pig would be appreciated.

I've been looking awful hard at those .25 B28's for awhile now. If I had the cash I'd spring for it at $189! Plus you can get 40 tins of pointed .25 ammo for less than a hundred bucks, I think those are 150 ct. tins. Not the best stuff I'm sure, but dirt cheap .25 ammo for target practice and any short range pest control application- and you can save the good stuff for hunting in the woods. Maybe after a good flare of the skirt those pellets might shoot fine anyway! It may all be Chinese, but almost everything is made overseas these days. Buying from Mike is like supporting the American dream. Besides all that, you can't get more for your money. He disassembles and inspects them, lube tunes them, then still sells them for less than you can get them anywhere else. When I can afford it, I'll be getting another springer, I miss my old break barrels! I was thinking of buying used since I inevitably tune it anyway, but instead I'll probably buy from Mike Melick. I just hope the deal on the B28 and the pellet deal is still good when the time comes

I just got my XS-28, .25 cal, today. It's a beautiful piece, can't wait to try it out, but I don't have a single pellet in the house that fits it.

My order from PA is due tomorrow, and I bought a sample assortment from bodybag0. This is my fourth purchase from Mike, I wish everyone gave his kind of service.

No. It's where we can all focus on one small business in a specified time period to "push cash" to them. Just boost their sales for a week, to help them through the leans times. And Mike is great guy to do that. i just bought a BAM tuned from him a couple weeks ago. Now I'm thinking I'll send a rifle to him to fully tune.
