I've had huge success with smoked white fish. It's very loud in smell and they love it.

Heck, if you use smoked white fish for bait I might even show up  :)   I love that stuff,, especially smeared on a good bagel  :)

we use smoked jac mac and bacon grease when we trap coon ... works great a lil squirt of cherry oil or fish oil and your good to go .. you can also add a a few drops of liquid smoke to jac mac and bacon grease in a food processer makes a good coon bait ..or just plain old deer corn look at some deer trail cam pic's there is always coon on the corn piles ..

I know, that combo is awesome..... I use the whole pieces of fish for bait. The spread I don't think I could share it. lol
