I have ordered alot from PA and never once dissatisfied.  You got a bad one from the factory.....not PA.  Unless you have them do the 10 for $10 test they don't open these guns up.  Just ship as fast as an order comes in.  If the box was not damaged then it is a factory issue that PA will gladly take back and help you out. 

As far as a Benji Trail being subpar.........??????  Mine is a great rifle that has no griding and the synthetic stock A+!  I guess I got lucky in the order as Clint Eastwood would say!

As far as 950 fps as claimed..............yeah, after the barrel has been warmed up and shooting .22 pellets that weigh like 8 grains!!!!  But velocity isn't everything, a slower travel pellet with weight behind it at 700 fps is much better in my book.
