Dick Tracey,
Perfectly clear. I purchased a Benjamin Titan GP nitro piston .22 "up to 950 fps with high velocity pellets.  The rifle is clearly labeled Benjamin Crosman Titan GP on the compression tube. The serial number and model number are where you say. Only the Model is C8M22NP. Go figure.

THIS IS FOR THE .22 cal versions.

If you go to crosman manual site the part number for the Titan GP is C8M22NP, The Titan GP Low Power is C7M22NP.  These model numbers show up on the left side of the breach above the serial number.  I assume the GP stands for Gas Poston

The benjiman Titan GP part number is BW8M22NP In the instructions they show that the low power is BW7M22NP.  Again the part number is on the left side of the breach above the serial number.  I assume the NP stands for Nitrogen Piston.

Does this make it perfectly clear?  lol

Pyramid is the only place Ive ever seen selling the true lower powered titan gp. all the titan gp's sold at walmart are high velocity type. Mine was a outstanding specimen right out of the box, took me 10 pellets to zero scope, 5 min. to install charlies trigger and 5 min. to loctite everything down. now it shoots cphp pellets in a dime at 20 to 25 yrds all day long and is my go to hunting rifle at the back door spot.
