Awesome video. I need to start making my own beef jerky. I've had homemade beef jerky before and it was so much better than the stores.

Another enabler. LOL
Appreciate the video and reminder. I enjoy making venison jerky and really enjoyed your video. Thanks for sharing. I think I'll break out my 6 tray unit this weekend and make a batch or two. I know what you mean about folks coming out of the woodwork. Same here. I also make batches and raffle off to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Last year raised over $5000 in raffle money to donate.
But now I got a hankering for some fresh jerky, for me.

I've been making it at home for many years and my recipe is pretty much the same as yours.  I haven't made any for a couple of months now but watching your video has me hankering for jerky so I just took a bunch of venison out of the freezer and soon as it thaws enough to slice I'll be startin the jerky process  :)

I have a 9 tray "Excalibur" dehydrator with temp control and fan and like your unit it makes amazing jerky.

Wingman,

Just bought a book on food dehydration.  I'm seriously thinking about getting a good dehydrator.

Glad you liked it now go make some jerky and tell me how it worked out for you.... Thanks for watching.

You'll love your Excalibur dehydrator.  Mine works phenomenal.  One of the best things I ever invested in  :)
