My tuned bmk20 shoots out every standerd HW95 and my tuned Bam-b40 beats every standard AA tx200 But Bam has stopped production and now in Europe also hard to find
Is it true that BAM helped make the Rugers? The Rugers are models that BAM already made just with different names.
Bams 16, 25 & 60 has been rebranded
Current manufacture Ruger air rifles are produced mainly by the Zhejiang Xinhua Sporting Goods Company. You can see the factory site at http://www.xtsgcn.com/product.asp and you will recognize a number of the guns that are branded as Xisico and Ruger in the US. Ruger airguns, of course, are actually manufactured for Umarex, which distributes and sells them world-wide.BAM manufactures a number of break barrel air rifles for Crosman and they also manufacture the whole of the Stoeger Airguns family. You can see their core product range on the manufacturer's site at at http://www.china-bam.com/beining/html/prl1/t171.html They also manufacture guns and parts for a number of other brands. BAM air rifles have not been imported into the US under their own brand name since 2009, all their recent production is branded for other companies.Shanghai Airgun Company manufactures Tech Force air rifles and the Chinese Beeman rifles such as the RS2/1073 sold at Wal-Mart. You can see their products on the factory site at http://www.airrifle-china.com/newEbiz1/EbizPortalFG/portal/html/CategoryList.html?ProductMultiCategoryPicker210_action=SearchCategory&CategoryID=c373e91fadcad0178f6fefcd523e7434&ProductAdvancedPickerIndex_action=Search&ProductAdvancedPickerIndex_CategoryID=c373e91fadcad0178f6fefcd523e7434BAM, Shanghai and Xinhua are all different companies, although sometimes they will co-operate if mutually beneficial.I hope this clears some of the branding/manufacturing confusion that surrounds this issue.
