What you will need.
1 Grey Squirrel/legs
1/2 cup of chopped potatoes
1/4 cup of onions
Pepper
Salt
Butter

Stalk a grey squirrel and kill it.  Skin it any way you prefer.  Cut the legs of and have them soak in salt water for a few hours.  Chop potatoes and onion into 1/2" bits.  Get a pan and put butter in it. ( enough to cover the bottom )  throw in squirrel legs on medium until cooked thoroughly.  Throw in potatoes and onions and stir.  Put on a plate and enjoy a good afternoon snack.

Depends how much water.  I usually throw in a cup and a half and about 3 tablespoons of salt.

Simple.  Clean quarter and fry.  I have never made stews or other recipes with squirrels.  Just fried hot and crispy.

Simply put your squirrel, a little Italian salad dressing (redneck marinade for everything) a big spoonful of butter, some peppers and onion into some aluminum foil and seal the edges. Don't wrap tight against the squirrel but make it more into a sealed bag. Bake on 250 until done. Took about 2 hours.  I've only done it once but it was awesome. I'll never boil another one.  If you had several squirrels I'll bet one of those turkey baking bags would work good.
