you could probably set it out a little farther than that, between 70- 80 yards.When I go to the warehouse for long shot practicing, on 9x, I set up a target (plain paper) with a circle the size of a .22 pellet or marginally bigger and bench shoot at that, lets me know that I'm all lined up.I'm pretty positive you could read the numbers at that distance with 20/20 vision or better, Just watch you don't shoot the crony, this is my second f1 chrony, The first one took one to the screen.Rob
rough estimate: maybe 3" wide to 1' or less high. shot needs to pass directly over top of the sensors.
